Another outstanding wine from this impeccable producer. Loads of cab sauv robust fruit and spice. Delicious. — 10 years ago
Brioche, yeasty beasties, and lemon custard aromas, with a dollop of umami. Crisp, with a very long finish, creamy texture. This is my favorite of the Pere Mata Cavas I've tried so far. — 10 years ago
Up front ripe fruit still in form despite being 2006! — 10 years ago
If only all cavas were like this. Almost champagne like with the age that you can immediately tel. Zero dosage yet not overly dry at all. Dried fruits and biscuity. — 11 years ago

If you like crisp, austere mineral-driven whites (think Chablis 1ere Cru or a very fine Alto Adige), you'll love this wine.
Unfortunately, unless you live in, or visit, Chile you won't find it. Only sold in country and too small production for export (6 hectares for 4 types) of grapes, this is a great excuse for a pilgrimage to Chile's surreally beautiful Pisco del Equi Valley. — 9 years ago
