Alive but on the downhill. Drink up. Good thick fruit but lacking a bit of acidity. It’s the vintage I guess. BTW, the bottle hasn’t leaked. The stain on the lable is from somewhere else. — 7 years ago

A youngin but nice dark plums and aromatic liqourish shining thru. Ripe tannins. Generous when first opened and becoming more austere after hour and half of being opened. 😮 — 8 years ago

Very impressive for the vintage. Drinking well now. Proof (along w B. Mascarello) that good producers who weren’t hit by hail made good wines. Sadly Cavallotto was wiped out, and Brovia nearly so. — 7 years ago
Stunning. Tart yet round with strawberries, apples, oranges, and minerals. As it warms up there is prominent butter and spice. I need to find more. — 9 years ago
In love with this Barbera — 10 years ago
