飲んでみると瑞々しく、滑らかだが、バルサミコや苺系のフルーツもあるし、紅茶っぽい感じもある。そして、ミネラル。

Probably my favorite “cheap” Italian red. Though tannic, well balanced w dark rich fruit, high acidity, and 14% al. Earthy in a great way. Great nose. Long finish. Nice alone. Or drink w meats and/or robust pasta. $18. (One weird item: there is no vintage year on the bottle). — 7 years ago

A very nice surprise. Really enjoyed this esp for $18. Ripe and rich Nero d’avola. But great balance. Bold tannins. Buy a bunch. Reminds me of Calabretta Cara Cara, which I also love. — 4 years ago

Decanted briefly, but could do even longer. Lovely deep black cherries, cassis, roses. Funk burns off quickly on nose. Very lithe & medium bodied. Enchanting. Still a steal at low 30$s. Flavor profile is my sweet spot. — 7 years ago
