Just love this wine! Nice blend of grapes from the Bierzo Valley, biodynamic. Deep Ruby with loads of Berry fruits aromas adding some sweet floral spice and flinty notes. On the palate flavors of cherry, raspberry, and strawberry with a juicy mineral edge. Well balanced and integrated with fine chalky tannins, lively acidity and a long finish ending with fruit and spicy notes. Tremendous value for such a complex wine. — a month ago
Got this at the liquor store after getting back from Spain. This is a nice bottle. Oak flavor. Opened up very nicely. 2018 about 25 bucks. Worth it and would get it again. Smooth easy to drink. — 8 days ago
Blackberry, earthy, bitterness of dark chocolate or coffee perhaps. Beautiful long finish. Would age quite nicely. 2021 vintage. — a month ago
One of my favorites. This bottle will sell for $80-$100 at a fine steakhouse. Or you can purchase it at Spec’s for less than $25. Excellent when making your own steak dinner at home. 🥩🍷 — 6 days ago
Wow. A big, beefy wine with tremendous structure under the heavy fruit and smoke. Viscous on the palate. Was open for hours, and kept developing. A classy wine. In Boca. — 14 days ago
Very good Rioja. Classic in style. Red fruits, dried cherry, herbal and a little earthy. With mushroom and tomato pasta. Let’s see how it holds up on day 2. Honestly too hot and humid for this kind of meal, but it’s what I have on hand!
Day 2: Still great, but became a little pruney. I prefer the freshness on day 1. — 17 days ago
