Long & lean like the limbs of the woman who graces the label, the "Suzanne" Mondeuse from Domaine du Cellier des Crays is a wonderfully sensual late afternoon red. It smells like brambly, ripe, late summer raspberries bloomed into dark red roses with cinnamon pistils in a dense fog of pine. It tastes dank & fresh, like strawberry blunts rolled with bites of crisp apple stowed in a cedar box. If you see this bottle somewhere, please buy it. The year of 2012 in Portugal produced one of the best grapes. This particular wine was a lucky mistake that I found. Well balanced, earthy taste and smooth to drink. — 9 years ago
