More upscale Lambrusco than Reunite — 7 years ago
Crisp, sparkling, sweet red wine. Very tasty and easy to enjoy! — 9 years ago
Great sweet red wine! Full body, full flavor, suggests chilled but I have enjoyed it unchilled also. — 9 years ago
A truly elegant Brunello from one of the finest plots of the region Castelnuovo dell’Abate, this 100% Sangiovese was aged for 3.5 y in large casks (much more than the minimum 2 y requirement). It has a deep Ruby color, an enchanting elegant and sexy nose, screaming fines, with black current, mocaccino, cherries and mild note of dry leaves, medium to full body, smooth and caressing the palette , with lovely refined acidity and magically smooth tannins, long delicious finish, my score 91, drink to 2027 — 10 years ago
Stuffing was there with great tannin and acid but came across as too hot at 14.5. Alcohol very present for me — 10 years ago
Drank at All'Onda. A great chianti Classico riserva, declassified in this vintage (anyone know why?). Rustic, and quite different than other (le trame le boncie, Felsina) wines I've had from castelnuovo beradegna. This is very tasty, probably has a good couple more years, but perfectly delicious now. — 11 years ago

Tasted January 2013
A “young Brunello” produced from vineyards at 200 to 450 m asl with poor marl soil close to Castelnuovo dell’Abate. Fermentation by indigenous yeasts, long maceration, ageing 24 months in oak and 6 months in bottle.
100% Sangiovese.
Brilliant ruby red.
Intense and clean aromas. Excellent correspondence of taste to nose, outstanding freshness but also elegance and persistence.
Goes well with roasted game and aged cheese. — 9 years ago
Castello do Bossi. Nice mellow Chianti. A little on the sweet side. The 2007 is smooth and fruit forward. A very lite nose. Perhaps a little past it's prime. — 9 years ago
Red roses on the nose. Strawberries. A fun Italian rosé. Great end to an amazing trip! Thank you Iceland — 10 years ago
Great brunello with age. Med- full. Cherries. Long. Will wait another 1-3 years for final bottle. — 10 years ago

Cute but a little flat. — 6 years ago
Big, bold. Ripe black cherry, blackberry, herbs, oak / loud but refined tannins — 7 years ago
Aromatic, but a little too much oak and alcohol coming through. Fresh and racy, coming out of Castelnuovo del Abate, one of the hotter subzones of Montalcino climate wise. All the way down at the bottom of southern Montalcino. South facing slopes and lots of sun. Maybe too much. — 9 years ago
Castelnuovo dell'abate area of Montalcino, new style softness, alcohol has to be high 14's or above. Would have enjoyed this more at a younger age with more fruit in the balance buffering alcohol. Still nice meaty, iron style. — 10 years ago
ジャミーな香りとスモーキーな樽香を感じる。飲んでみると凝縮感のあるピチピチとした溌剌とした果実味を感じるが、どこか透明感がある。

Nice Italian bubble - better than the middle of the road Prosecco found in restaurants. Easy drinking! — 6 years ago
