Sept 2017. Opened this after a lighter, fruited red, made this taste harsh. Definitely decant! That would have helped. When I returned to it a day or 2 later I liked it a lot more. Sting's wine...bought for 16 bucks as a "what the heck, why not". Year is 2009... The bottle doesn't say which grape varietals are used but I'm going to guess there is a good percentage of merlot (?) as it has a really smooth mouth-feel.
