Castello Romitorio Rosso Di Montalcino DOC 2018: Medium-bodied. Nice balanced tannins & acidity. Elegant nose. Bright red fruit flavors followed by herbs, tobacco, earth and a subtle touch of oak. The finish was smooth & lasting. Considering its age, this wine was intriguing, vibrant & fresh; a definite winner and that is why this RdM will be one of the wines offered tonight at the UHM wine fundraiser event.

Poggio San Polo Brunello Di Montalcino DOCG 2012: Medium body. Medium tannins. Classic Brunello color & attributes: Evolving red & dark fruits, tobacco, leather, herbs & spice; ending the a smooth pleasant finish. In summary, Brunello bottle four was a nice wine selection for its price point (great QPR!) but not as expressive as the other wines from earlier in the week! Have a great day! Cheers🍷 — 4 years ago
