Note, in 2019 hail cut yields by 40%, Deep Ruby with concentrated aromas of ripe dark fruits and spices. On the palate flavors of black cherry and blackberry with leather, licorice and smoky herb notes. Fine tannins, hints of oak on medium+ finish ending with fruit, herb and earthy mineral tones. Any wine that can shine from a plastic cup deserves extra kudos. Mistook for a Northern nebbiolo with its structure, detail, & balance, but the fruit is pure southern, pomegranate & black currants.
