Very light, earthy flavors, leathery, but also like An old world Grenache. — 9 years ago
Any wine that can shine from a plastic cup deserves extra kudos. Mistook for a Northern nebbiolo with its structure, detail, & balance, but the fruit is pure southern, pomegranate & black currants. Eye opener (esp for 30$ list). Want to re taste in proper stemware. I think 80% nero di trioa 20% montulpiciano — 10 years ago
A very pleasant surprise, this wine is darker yellow color, ripe, rich with a good kick off acidity at the end. Excellent value for money — 11 years ago

Dirty old world Montepulciano blend. Drinks like Rioja used to in the 90s. Lots of charm and quality here. Medium bodied and easy to put down. — 9 years ago
Clean. Juicy. Medium bodied. Well balanced. Light vanilla/licorice aftertaste. More wine than price! Great value — 9 years ago

Fresh, almonds very dry. Long finish. — 12 years ago
Colour: almost no transparency, dark red, violet.
Nose: quite ripe and concentrated nose of red and black fruit (raspberry, red/black cherries, plums), notes of violet and red pepper, old wood bark, pine wood, vanilla, Mediterranean spices, bay leaves.
Palate: medium body, moderate acidity (not a lot), quite warm at the palate but not too much. Red fruit coming through (raspberry, red cherries), tannins quite evident, and quite strong, wool-like tannins and astringency. Rustic feeling. More astringent in the finish. — 9 years ago
Eataly find. Lemon finish and smooth. — 9 years ago
