Oaky, big Aglianico. Very structured with lots of tannins. Something vegetal in the finish. Probably should have let it age a few more years but very enjoyable nonetheless. — 7 years ago

Flavors of ripe cherry, leather, plenty of tannins and good finish. Tried it with some chocolate, was actually pretty good. — 9 years ago
Any wine that can shine from a plastic cup deserves extra kudos. Mistook for a Northern nebbiolo with its structure, detail, & balance, but the fruit is pure southern, pomegranate & black currants. Eye opener (esp for 30$ list). Want to re taste in proper stemware. I think 80% nero di trioa 20% montulpiciano — 9 years ago
One of their best vintages, at 8 years old it's outdoing the 2012 and 2010. — 10 years ago
Magnum 89/100 — 10 years ago
Yum! This is the 4th bottle of this wine I have purchased. It's my couch sitting go to, smooth and a little complex. This is a red I would suggest to a Pinot lover looking for something a little more deep and complex. — 11 years ago
Loved this. — 13 years ago
Absolutely amazing with beef and sting and bold. — 6 years ago
Beautiful rose, wish I had bought more than 2 bottles. Great rose, not too sweet, not too dry. Nice balance. Multi flavors and nice finish. — 7 years ago
Can smell the oak. Dry with hints of cherry. Strong goes down smooth, the taste lingers. — 8 years ago
Dirty old world Montepulciano blend. Drinks like Rioja used to in the 90s. Lots of charm and quality here. Medium bodied and easy to put down. — 9 years ago
Old world taste for this still relatively young wine — 10 years ago
I LOVE aglianico. Slightly obsessed. Earth and tannins. — 10 years ago
Very unique wine that starts with a grapefruit zing and ends with a dry, cool finish. Never had this before, pretty cool stuff — 10 years ago
Wild strawberry, bright cherry and tons of minerals. A touch out of balance with the abv. This needs time to coalesce. But not long. — 10 years ago
Wonderfully fruity — 11 years ago
Wine perfection. Cranberry and licorice flavors, powerful licorice nose. Underrated on Vivino. Perfect with steak or lamb. — 6 years ago
Bought with talico.com had high ratings but i prefer the taleo wines (lower rating) better. This is definitely clean with substance but doesn’t have much character. Like the girl in your highschool twenty years ago who was nice (and you still remember her) but boring. Wine on its own is fine but I had a dark chocolate afterwards and it lost out. — 7 years ago
Very dry, champagne-like bubbles from the Dolomiti. Happy birthday Laura! — 8 years ago
Lovely example of Italian cab. Lots of life left. — 8 years ago
Very elegant for a cab, not a mouth bomb. Clean and pleasing. — 9 years ago
Awesome white. Easy to drink but not simple at all...apricot, brioche, bitter almond skins with minerality and salinity. Touch of honey. Gorgeous mouth feel, soft pleasant acidic finish. — 10 years ago
Very good but not 2010 or 2011. — 10 years ago
Really good and light. With scallop course — 11 years ago
Schiava Bischofleiten! My fave red glass pour at work right now. — 11 years ago
