They sold this vineyard but Casey planted this in the early 80's. This is 100% merlot lots of red plum and cherry fruit with notes of herbs and light spice. A very juicy merlot with smooth silky tannins. Finish 35+. Excellent — 11 years ago

Drank this after an '03 Edizione Pennino was corked upon opening. Maybe the smell and the quick sip I took from it ruined my palate for the night. Casey and Dad enjoyed it immensely but I thought it seemed like it was winding down and was not particularly impressed. I tasted unpleasant bitterness in this wine, although that mellowed after 2-3 hours. I dunno take this one for what it's worth. My first impression was probably more accurate. — 12 years ago

The wine is easy drinking as the name suggest but it's a great wine with complexity it has a great dark fruits tannins in the mid palate very subdued the alcohol level is great nice flavor of mocha chocolate in the end again the blending is done in such a way that wine shows all the character of the grapes — 10 years ago
