Bright, effervescent red. Starts off kind of tasting like wet socks and then smooths and rounds out to dried apricot, green apple, and cinnamon, with a tart finish. Definitely something to worth chillingl! — 8 months ago

Very tasty. Sweet and earthy. Intense flavor. From Howie, February 2021. — 5 years ago
Didn’t even need a decant, this babe was ready to go the second I popped the cork. This was all dried blackberries and dark plum with sturdy tannins begging for a rack of lamb. — 5 years ago
Nice, reminds me of traveling in Italy — 7 years ago
Solid Nebbiolo — 8 years ago
Barolo’s are new territory for us. It was a medium bodied wine with tannins that were not over powering. Easy on the palate and a smooth finish. — 4 months ago
Schneider’s recommendation. Drank with L’Ardente dinner. Great, lighter bodied. — 9 months ago
Bright and fresh, yet stood up to the Tuscan short ribs, polenta and arugula salad like a champ. Delicious! — 5 years ago
I liked it but too sweet for Warren — 6 years ago
Petillant, tart, juicy, unexpectedly rich for a natural. — 7 years ago
Ruby in color with light intensity and a wide reddish rim.
Fruity nose of red currants, cherries, earth, black coffee, chocolates, chalk and light oak.
Medium bodied with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with red fruits, earth, light wood, spices, coffee, dark chocolates, vegetables, herbs and black tea.
Medium finish with round tannins and tangy raspberries.
This is a very tasty Barbaresco. Easy drinking and elegant, but not as smooth as I expected it to be.
This 5 year old feels like it needs more time in the bottle to mature properly. Will continue to age nicely in the next 10 to 15 years. Would be nice to revisit it in 5 years.
This Single Vineyard Nebbiolo is complex and interesting. Good by itself and better with food.
100% Nebbiolo grapes were aged for 2 years in large oak barrels. A small production of only 3,500 bottles.
14% alcohol by volume.
91 points.

Still a little green but nice structure — 4 years ago
Celebration wine (paid off the Tundra).... This is layered and evolving, with a nose of tobacco smoke, tar, black plum, cherry kirsch, dried violet and rose, bay leaf, sage, anise, and blackcherry. Round, sweeter dark berry and cherry fruit on the palate. Structure builds in mouthcoating tannin balanced by rich acidity. Spice box, leather and tar on the mid-palate. Acidity is still fresh, almost tart, and lifts a finish that is balanced and lingers for 60+ seconds. Underripe cherry and gravel. A touch of warmth speaks to the vintage and comune. This over-delivers at the price point with outstanding complexity, depth and length. Hold for 3-5 more years, then enjoy over an evening. — 6 years ago
