At Will Morel's family dinner. Light but still full. — 11 years ago
Clear ruby colour in the glass.
On the nose intensely meaty with plum, leather and some mushroom notes. It is a very ripe style with strong intensity.
Dry on the palate with medium acidity and tannins. It coats the mouth with a silky sensation. Medium body.

Pickings still slim in Cancun, but this Chilean cabernet stood out. Too astringent to quaff alone, it went nicely with spicy food, well made SA cab. — 9 years ago
