Ruby red, dark fruits. Medium body. Crushable. — 4 years ago
2015 vintage. Single vineyard 100 % Sangiovese from south facing hill full of schist stones. Hand picked and sorted. 14 months in French oak tonneaux then 4 months in concrete vats then 6 months in bottle.
Impressive nose of cherry kirsch, new leather and savoury baker’s spice.
Taste wise, layers of ripe strawberry and cherry with a touch of earthiness and stones. Brilliant mouth watering acidity with freshness. I could drink this every week.
We made our own dough and had duck, local B.C. Matsutake mushrooms and grilled onion pizza with this wine. — 6 years ago

Deep straw yellow, apples, almond marzipan. Great QPR. — a year ago
Not too astringent for me, lotta booze on the nose but great berry flavors without overwhelming anything on the tongue. — 5 years ago

Perfect for a hot summer evening. Sipping and waiting for a good friend for dinner. Been too long! — 9 years ago
Drinking the 2007 in 2024. Light bouquet with hints of oak and earth. Deep dark fruit with medium tannins but a smooth finish. Love the oak and leather notes! Deep dark color and flavors. — 2 years ago
Tuscan white wine from WineThing, had ‘19 vintage in ‘23. Nice. — 3 years ago
Surprisingly approachable for a Brunello despite a richness that the wine exudes. Lots of forest floor alongside of nicely structured tannins that evolve in the glass. A little more alcoholic than I normally expect from this varietal. Comparable in many ways to the white label of Casanova di Neri… — 5 years ago
Svulstig. Saknar lite struktur för att riktigt lyckas. — 6 years ago
Spice, leather, blackberry, vanilla nose. Lush blackberry, tobacco and, mineral, hint of raisin in the finish. — 8 years ago

The winery’s entry level Sangiovese bottling. Aged 15 months in second-use French oak for 2020 vintage, it delivers a darker-fruited profile while preserving Sangiovese’s classic character. A versatile, crowd-pleasing choice and pairs especially well Northern Italian pasta dishes. — 10 months ago
