Loureiro 2019

Kind of a nutty/smoked meat note on the nose. On the palate, green apple, lemon, lime, and a beautiful tart saline finish. In love with this! — 4 years ago

Tacama

Don Manuel Tannat 2015

Bons Ventos Vinho Regional Lisboa Red Blend 2014

Absolutely incredible value for money. VERY fruit forward, with “Touriga Nacional” in the front of the queue, if you don’t like port or fruity wines, stay away from this one, but for an amazingly drinkable daily “Table Wine” at around AU$ 10.00 a bottle? This is a winner on every level.

Saint Joseph Dimanche à lima Roussanne Marsanne Blend 2015

Nose all buttery and exotic, also showing a slight evolution. Mouth follows in texture and volume with medium + lenght. Julien Pilon’s wines are always show stoppers. — 7 years ago

Silenus Vinhão 2010

Granite soils, macerated in granite tanks and 9 months in French oak. Right bank Bordeaux aromas, higher acidity and structure/energy like a 2015 cru Beaujolais. Does quite well with a chill. Fun wine. Hard to believe it’s from Vinho Verde. — 7 years ago
