Tart with sweeter after taste. Pear? Nectarine? Great for warm weather. Very drinkable. — 2 years ago
Best Madeira I’ve had yet. Can’t wait to try the others in the series — 4 years ago

Typical very good toro wine. Great black fruit. Good length — 7 years ago
Много темных ягод, специи, лаврушка. Насыщенно и немного грубовато. Мягкие танины, высокая кислотность. — 7 years ago
Dark fruit, tart tannins, complex. I’d buy a case of this vintage and enjoy with a Cohiba from Havana 🇨🇺 — 8 years ago
Wow. $8. This is a fairly decent Douro and a steal at < $15 let alone <$10. Med-full with good length and med tannins. — 9 years ago
Really excellent. Intense yet smooth, the age shows but only in a refined way. Finish goes on forever. Like really good old Bordeaux. — 9 years ago
Pretty darn good. — 10 years ago
Red fruit forward. Powerful but smooth Cabernet Sauvignon. A good example of this type of fruit-driven, overpowering Cabernet Sauvignon for those who like their Cabernet that way. No complexity. — 8 months ago
Solid medium dry sercial; fine predinner — 3 years ago
Fantastic, bday wine — 5 years ago
Toffee and maple aromas stand out in this Colheita. Flavours of biscuit and toasted pecan emerge thereafter. The finish is vaguely like vanilla. — 6 years ago
Saca 2018. Lite fruktigare än gemene fino. Torkade russin. — 7 years ago
Quite lovely on our first night in Portugal for the wife’s birthday! Scored 2 points higher due to the sleeping gentleman in the picture :) #firstfamilyvacation — 7 years ago
Rich, complex drinking. — 8 years ago
Luis' top red cuvée from his oldest vines of Brancellao, Caiño Redondo, Caiño Longo and Ferrol. Unlike the "regular" A Torna Dos Pasas, the Escolma is aged in new and used French barriques for 1yr and bottle-aged for another 3 years.
Red and black tart berry fruit, backbone of fine tannins and Atlantic/granite minerality.
This is Spanish wine for Burgundy lovers. Amazing. — 9 years ago

2016 vintage. Dirk Niepoort's answer to Burgundy and it actually has a Pinot Noir like colour and mouthfeel. This is a very unusual Douro from very old vines. Delicate nose with sour cherries , pomegranate and flowers. It is all about finesse and subtlety. Very long. Delicious and expensive (80 euros), but if you see the prices of Portuguese high end wines these days it almost seems a bargain. — 3 years ago
Hugo loved this at the beach over one ice cube. Perfect refreshing summer wine — 5 years ago
2017 Niepoort Branco. HB for Barry M. Not as good as the last bottle, but still delicious. Lean and fresh. — 6 years ago
Really nice! — 7 years ago
Super structured, elegant, herby big red. Definitely needed decanting, but we were so eager that it all got drained in one night! — 8 years ago
Easy, fragrant, great value — 8 years ago
Costco cheap very good deal — 9 years ago
Very shy and closed when I tasted it. Feel like I didn't get a proper feel for the wine. — 9 years ago
