A more leaner rendition of this varietal, but in a good way. Nose displays clean cinnamon and toast. Palate is broad and expansive, yet light on its feet. A kiss of vanilla pod and black fruits conclude an excellent presentation. This is an intellectual wine.

A wine to celebrate with. A deep, lusty burgundy color in the glass. Classic Barolo characteristics on the nose with raspberries, cherries, and dried figs. An entire bouquet of flowers and soft vanilla. Spice, mocha, and more than a touch of oak.
Still young and with miles to go, this is still a worthy example of the beauty of Barolo. Dense and firm throughout with tight tannins. Takes plenty of time and air to fully open up. Nice structure and balance compliments the palate. Cranberries and cloves in the mouth with leather and cigar smoke. Nice now but will better with more time. — 7 months ago
2020 Vintage. Surprised that this had a good amount of acidity which made it a great match with food. Loved it. — 10 months ago

Wow! Aged a bit too long, but still a pleasure to drink. Go for it! — 4 months ago
Extremely impressive showing from this Barolo - fully integrated and clearly at peak plateau of drinking (likely to continue drinking well for another handful of years but wouldn’t wait) - this was very masculine in style presenting a full bodied palate but the tannins were soft and silky. Meaty, truffle, tobacco with dark dark fruits - certainly worth buying — 6 months ago
Opened and decanted shortly before dinner; enjoyed over the course of two hours. The 2019 pours a very rustic looking, deep straw bordering gold color; medium viscosity. On the nose, the wine is developing with lovely notes bruised and dried fruits: dried apricot, bruised yellow apple, candied oranges, yellow flowers, herbaceous (rosemary?), and old wood. And yet there’s a freshness there that is undeniable. On the palate, the wine is dry with low tannin and medium + acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is very long. Another vintage of Lapideus and another beauty from Giampiero. These wines make me think and each time I get to enjoy one, I’m reminded of why wine can be so special. Drink now through 2029. Another great Langhe Nebbiolo. Great food wine. — 10 months ago
Always delicious. Drinking well for such a young Barolo — 3 years ago
2017 vintage. Pinot noir weight, body and color. Strawberry and raspberry flavor components up front. Cracked black pepper, tar, parched earth and blackberry on the finish. Tannins afoot but not frighteningly so. Opened a little early but still harmonious. — 4 years ago
Just lovely — 2 months ago
Pale golden yellow color with aromas of stone fruit, citrus and herb spice notes. On the palate flavors of apple with slight citrus and honey notes and herb spice. Good acidity, balance and structure, medium+ finish ending with earthy mineral character. Very Nice! — 5 months ago
Classic Barolo via the stellar 2010 vintage (now +15 yrs). Medium / pale garnet and pours to a transparent center. Pop-and-pour to taste, with a much needed 2-hour decant to follow. Bone dry, high tannin and medium+ acidity, just like I like it. Tons of dark red fruit; this is drinking exceptionally well now, but would certainly benefit from 10-15+ more years in the cellar as the nose continues to develop. The finish is long / strong and heavily structured; simply a gorgeous expression of the Rocche dell’Annunziata Riserva! — 9 months ago
Very much on the light side. Smooth. — 3 years ago
Great Italian Pinot with a long cherry aftertaste, really nice blackberry flavored and earthy taste. This worked really well with Moroccan spiced chicken fire roasted eggplant and couscous. — 4 years ago
