@Carl Fischer Christine knew that we would all get along as soon as you walked in with this beauty in New York earlier this year!!! It's one of her favorites!!! Truly A phenomenal example of a great Napa cab. This is firing on all cylinders. I still have a dozen left in my cellar and can't wait to see the evolution that they will take in the next 15 years. Winner, winner chicken dinner! Great minds think a like Carl! LOL we must've had 60 bottles of wine that night and I still remember Christine saying "I really like that wine" when you walked in the door with that bottle! LOL The entire WNH @Joe Lucca @Mike Rowe @David L @Ron R would've had an incredible time this evening. We can't wait to see you within the near future! — 9 years ago

Lychee, kiwi, stone fruit, grapefruit, honeycomb, etc. Tasted like a cross between a Loire Chenin Blanc and a Hungarian Tokaji. Outstanding! — 11 years ago

Very bold nose. Round and rich with a touch of sweet marzipan. Without being overpowering. Fantastic. — 11 years ago
Very sweet, but I like both sweet and dry Rieslings. Paid about $12 and would do it again. — 9 years ago
Enjoyed on January 6, 2017. This bottle seemed a bit weaker than previous bottles I've had. — 9 years ago
@David L @Carl Fischer @Ron R @Joe Lucca @Kirk Alexander Christine & I had dinner with my buddy Kirk and his beatific wife Veronica. I uncorked this one since it had been such a reliable pour the last time I opened it. However, in New York it had disappointed all of us. I am back to being disappointed. This is the type of bottle that you have to open by itself and not showcase it against any other as it will swiftly retreat into the shadows. Light on the palate, super short finish. This bottle came in dead last tonight. I can't believe the other that I opened impressed me that much that night. I don't do this often but I will knock it down to an 8.9. — 9 years ago

Alpine Chardonnay, Pinot Bianco and Petit Manseng? Super cool and surprising. Nice palate weight from the Chard, nervy herbal tension from the PB and PM. Captivating. Thanks @Patrick Ballow #OliverMcCrum — 10 years ago

The best Riesling I tasted on a recent trip to NYC. Touch of sugar with great acid and extended lees contact. — 12 years ago

Gifted by @Carl Fischer in absentia. Golden straw hues, baked apple. A weighty feel but not cloying and I didn't get any over eager oak here at all. — 9 years ago
