Delicious wine from my friend Marc Ripoll, lovely perfumed nose with ripe black berries fruits, plum, cherries, authum forest, vanilla, spices, full bodied on the palate with elegant and delicate ripe fruit flavors, fresh notes, delicious fine tannin structure, warm mouthfeel, round, fine toasted cedar, Llicorella minerality, like this! 96 DSP — 4 days ago
Same notes as before,
Best after a 3 hour decant time!
A blend of 70% Cariñena and 30% Garnacha
Nice nose with dark berries, black cherries, cedar notes and fine herbs, medium bodied on the palate, same fruit flavors, creamy texture, polished tannin, nice basic Priorat. 90 DSP — 3 years ago
Eric Solomon - for the most part - has a really good nose for Spanish wines: this is no different. Entry level Priorat with beautiful minerality & kirsch aromas mingled with white pepper & licorice. Really mouthfilling and suave on palate, generous w/just enough rigidity in tannins to provide approachable structure balanced nicely w/acidity. Lingering finish bellies $20 price point. — 21 days ago
Raspberry, black cherry, mineral, pepper, medium acidity. Very nice balance. Brighter than other Priorats I've had, but still big and bold at 14% ABV. 70% Garnacha, 20% Cariñena, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. With tri-color tortellini. Monday pasta nite 🤘 — 2 years ago
2017 rocks bright red fruit with a delightful hint of blissful carbonic. Incredible offering from the Languedoc, will disappear really fast - order 2 bottles to be safe. — 4 years ago
Medium plus body, acidity, and tannin. Black cherry, black licorice, sarsaparilla, crushed gravel. Structure. Drinking well at seven years. Should hold this peak for a while but unlikely to get better. — 12 days ago
@Tree Kilpatrick got it right. A bit on the big side but good. — 2 years ago
Gorgeous Priorat! Garnacha and Cariñena blend. Powerful, intensive and freshness from citric acidity. Dark and red berries, earthy and smoky. — 2 years ago

A light Macabao/Muscatel blend, less assertive than I expected and that I swear tastes faintly of kombucha. — 3 days ago
