Fruity smooth and rich with lovely mouthfeel and a mild finish. Very approachable and drinkable. — 7 years ago
Very interesting white, Posip. The closest analogue would be Torrontes.
Dry white wine that is strangely seductive, every sip entertains your palate and even your lips just like a kiss. Slightly heavier body and minimal fruit with grapefruit, pear, and green apple. Lovely Croatian creation;-) — 9 years ago
I expected it to be tight and rather acidic but it's surprisingly mellow and soft for a young wine. Jammy with hint of plums. — 10 years ago
Previous review mentioned red licorice- that's dead on. Very tasty, creamy OR chard — 10 years ago
Farmed organically, this 2014 is fresh, bright and reminiscent of Cara Cara oranges & pink grapefruit with Kieffer lime aromatic and Tahitian lime zest/ruby red grapefruit in the finish, which builds for 5 seconds before peaking and lasting a good 20 seconds in all! A beautiful bowl of exotic citrus that is an awesome match with a ripe and runny Humboldt Fog goat cheese!! — 10 years ago
One of the best ever. Thanks Cara — 11 years ago
Delicious moscato! Nice floral aroma, blended fruity tones without too much of one fruit. Wonderful with creamy desserts. — 11 years ago
Lovely Pinot!! A little higher price point, but great flavors, minerality, and almost a chocolate flavor if you really wait for it. — 12 years ago
The 2008 BdB Pol Roger has apples and lemon, and some Christmas stuffing characteristics too. Very open and inviting.
Bringing in the New Year quietly but happily, having spent the latter part of the day hanging art while a stew slowly cooked. Cara is 7+ months along so not really holding her own when it comes to Champagne, or any wine for that matter. Extra glasses for me... — 6 years ago

Not knowing much about Croatian wine, we asked the advice of our waiter who's knowledge clearly exceeded the requirements of the majority of his job. A beautiful crisp, clean wine with a great balance of dry vs. fruit. — 8 years ago
Full of flavor. Feel good to drink. Thanks Hank & Cara. 5/16 — 9 years ago

Enjoyed this tasty and teenaged Anakota Cab at Amis in Philadelphia with a lively view of the kitchen and delicious steak. Rich and peppery with a bite. Lots of fun chatting with the kitchen crew and the rest of the team at Amis while witnessing some glorious dessert prep (pictured: melted chocolate in ramekins)... Thank you @Cara Zimmerman for the great recommendation! — 7 years ago
When in Rome (as they say) 75% Cab Franc, 25% Merlot. This needs air or you'll think it uninspiring (was best the next day). Violets and slight French oak nose. Smooth, clean blue fruits with tannins up front fading at mid palate. Med/short finish. Solid wine. — 8 years ago
Very pale yellow, almost devoid of color. The nose is bright and alive with ripe honeydew melon, green fig, citrus zest, alfalfa sprouts, and fresh grapefruit juice. Gorgeous flavors come in waves; tangerine, citrus oils, lime, lemon zest, lemongrass, cara cara orange, white grapefruit. The acidity is literally laser focused, like the edge of a perfectly sharpened chef's knife. Minerality comes towards the end; clean, white river stones, granite. Hints of wheat grass and radish mix with wet stones on the long lingering finish. This will get even better over the next 5 years. One of the last wines from the true Jedi Master of Sauvignon Blanc. — 9 years ago
'06 vintage VV Roussanne, vintage label fell off. Hazelnuts, honey, cara cara orange, tremendous wine — 10 years ago
Nice chianti - Sangiovese for our Christmas holiday. — 10 years ago
Some mineral and unctuous texture. Quite brunt and salty. $22 — 11 years ago
O Parker deu 90 Pontos pra ele. — 12 years ago
