Like most wines in today's line-up: marred by alcohol...

This was the #1 wine rated 100 points by Cape Wine Makers Guild. Enjoyed this over a n amazing lunch at Jordan Wine Farm in Stellenboch South Africa. The 2009 Chard was smooth and delightful! — 8 years ago
10 varieties in this blend from one of the new generation of winemakers from South Africa, Adi Badenhorst. — 9 years ago

I like the term "bangin'" for this wine. Original South African winemakers for South African royalty. I can taste why. — 10 years ago

Arguing these may be the most talented winemakers south of the equator? Bbq stains optional. — 9 years ago
Interesting project pairing U.S. winemakers with those from emerging global economies. Ntsiki Biyela, the South African half of this pairing, is a rising star and I'm dying to get her stuff solo. This one's a unique blend, at least for me: Cabernet Sauvignon, Sangiovese, with some Malbec and merlot. Rich and ripe, dark fruit, fairly straightforward but wonderfully intense flavor. — 9 years ago
Smooth, slight acidity, fruity, berry currants. Moist like the west coast. Best after it breathes for a bit. Not too bad for a Vintage 2011 Lot #8 — 9 years ago
Well balanced, very nice classic touch. Aromas of vegetable soup, red paprika are slightly too apparent. — 10 years ago
Honey and flowers but not sweet — 10 years ago

Still a baby... tannic beast that will do well to set down for sometime. Fruit began to show in the final sips. — 7 years ago
