Visited this vineyard earlier this year - in the Willamette Valley in Oregon. The landscape was spectacular; the tasting room staff knowledgable and helpful. It was a very memorable experience. I tasted this wine and brought a bottle home and we are enjoying it on our Cape Cod vacation. It was just as I remembered it - great fruit flavor, a prevalent spice, and a silky smooth finish after sitting in the glass for 15 minutes. If you have it, you are going to love it. I'm not usually a Pinot fan because good ones are hard to find. This is a great one. — 9 years ago

I read on Delectable that this Pinot is a Cab lover's Pinot and she was right. I usually pass on Pinot because a good one is so hard for me to find. But this one is really, really good. I've had the Belle Glos from Meiomi, which I've liked as well, but this is equally as good. Great spice along with the fruit. Found this on sale on Cape Cod for $17 - a bargain for wine that drinks like this. — 10 years ago

It has a wonderful tart flavor from the cranberry, but the flavor of the wine isn't strong, so if that's what you want, you'll be disappointed. It's delicious and super drinkable. This has quickly become a favorite. — 9 years ago

Not sure what other reviewers are tast but this '04 Ducale Oro with a side clam linguine in red sauce up here in Cape Cod is delicious. Pretty nose with some rosemary or pine scents and vibrant fruit make for a delicious wine. — 10 years ago
