Body is medium plus and has great concentration at this price point, due to barrel fermentation and aging. Poor man's Krug basically and that richness I haven't found at a price lower than this. Perfect pairing with 90 day aged beef crudo and perigord truffle tajarin. Neutral acid cut the mild spice and iodine flavor of spaghetti neri and even worked lovely along with zeppoli with lavender cream. — 10 years ago
