Oak and red fruit on nose. Bold and very smooth Favorite of GR’s collection I’ve had to date — 2 months ago
Delicious Barolo. Haven’t had this producer before. Quite classic with an edge of modernity in the seamlessness of the finish. Great dark fruit, bit of earth and leather, excellent acid, tannins are obviously there but not overwhelming (especially with steak). Quite delicious. — 2 months ago
Much fruitier than the barbera but bolder and dryer as well. Sweet and almost sour note on nose. — 2 months ago
mostly Sangiovese with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Spice, dried fruit, attractive and polished. Under $20? No brainer. — a month ago
Crisp and refreshing — 2 months ago
Less bold and slightly less dry than cerrata. More complex. Great nose of dark and red fruits and earth — 2 months ago
Love this wine. Clean, crisp. No bitterness. Taste of pears, green apple. — 2 months ago
WS: 93. Suave and harmonious, with a firm frame of fine-grained tannins married to ripe black and red currant fruit, iron and ash, anise, black tea leaf and citrus peel notes. This expands on the palate and through the long, mouthwatering finish. Drink now through 2035. 950 cases made, 400 cases imported.

Upon decanting for 30 minutes the nose is full of ripe cherry, tobacco & a bit of mint.
On the palate the nose is verified with good structure and soft tannin. it is medium bodied, delightful wine that is fully mature and has a long full finish. Drink it now. It is a lovely classic barolo. — a month ago
