Not as bold as I would expect but still very good — 13 years ago
Drier than the normal Vesuvio '11. More of the elegance and less of the dense mouthfeel but lots
and lots of tannin. Very big and weighty finish however. Ridiculously long, packed. — 11 years ago
Such a strange taste - savory and bitter - but ended up going perfectly with my king trumpet mushroom dish. — 12 years ago
A nice wine with rustic tannins and lots of sweet black fruit. Nice acidity to balance all that fruit still shining through on this 2008 bottle brought over from Italy. Really chewy and very long finish. — 13 years ago
Hints of licorice, tannins softer and alcohol lower than expected. Great value. — 11 years ago

2012, white. This is a fabulous white, FULL of character! So rich on the palate with Bavarian cream and toasted almond on the nose, creamy peach skin and a nice rounded acidity on the finish. Golden in colour - I could drink this all day every day. Blend of falanghina and caprettone. — 11 years ago
