Nice nose, some cherry and a bit dry. Pretty smooth on the back end, opens up a little with some time. Decent price at $13 from World Market. Would buy again if on sale. Enjoyed with a delicious pot roast. — 9 years ago

2019 vintage. Château La Fleur Cailleau, Canon-Fronsac. Bought in 1982 by Paul Barré (also Château La Garde, Fronsac) and managed these days by his son Gabriel and his wife Edith. Biodynamically farmed since 1990. Very impressive indeed, with an exemplary purity of fruit, ripe tannin and energetic acidity. Highly recommended. Abv. 14,5%. — 2 years ago

Grapey on the pallet. Deep purple in color. Lovely. Simple but good. Tastes like a lot of wines I've had before. Sharp acidity aftertaste. Don't feel sick or drunk from multiple glasses, feel wise, bright, and still healthy, no hangover. Unlike some other bullshit sugar wine products on the market — 9 months ago
