I had this in the past and couldn’t remember much about it. Now on NYE, it’s what we paired with our chicken dinner and it is delicious. First taste feels flat but then you feel it bounce on your tongue with hints of pepper — 5 months ago
CW 19. A little tight the first night. The second night it is fruit forward with decent complexity and tannins. — 7 months ago
Grapey on the pallet. Deep purple in color. Lovely. Simple but good. Tastes like a lot of wines I've had before. Sharp acidity aftertaste. Don't feel sick or drunk from multiple glasses, feel wise, bright, and still healthy, no hangover. Unlike some other bullshit sugar wine products on the market — 9 months ago

3.0. Dark purple Bordeaux, up-front fruitiness but a bit flat on the palette, with pretty smooth finish. On sale for $9.99!, regularly $12.99. — 6 months ago
Enough age to bring the fruit intensity down a notch, & man that’s some good fruit- emphasis on the cassis & blackberries. Usually not a mega fan of Bordeaux, but this fit the bill for a shared bottle with friends, drink outside on the banks of the Hudson. — 7 months ago

Juicy black fruit, firm tannins, iron and red twizzler nose, perfect with ribeyes. Always been a bargain of a wine — 4 years ago

Ripe dark berries, smoke, tobacco. Full-bodied, amazingly rich and warm. — 6 months ago
Very fresh for 15 years. Enough tertiary funk to play well on the table. A fun cellar release from KLWM — 8 months ago
2019 vintage. Château La Fleur Cailleau, Canon-Fronsac. Bought in 1982 by Paul Barré (also Château La Garde, Fronsac) and managed these days by his son Gabriel and his wife Edith. Biodynamically farmed since 1990. Very impressive indeed, with an exemplary purity of fruit, ripe tannin and energetic acidity. Highly recommended. Abv. 14,5%. — 2 years ago
Very approachable St E. Dark cherry, licorice and barnyard. Medium body. Drinking nicely. — 4 years ago
2008 is lovely right now. Great balance of fruit, earth, and wood. — 5 years ago
