Deep violet color with appealing black and red fruits, damp earth, dried herb and a bit of spice aromas. On the palate it's a light-bodied, fresh, round, and elegant with well integrated sweet tannins. Strikes me as much more feminine in character compared to Italian Negroamaros I've had. Shows flavors of black berry, red plum, fig, strawberry, and a hint of spice flavors. Lingering finish. Retail - $36 14.5% abv. 3 barrels produced. — 11 years ago
