Another stunning effort was the '11 Cambria Pinot Noir 'Clone 23'. It's was amazing to detect the subtle variations the different clones made on the aromatic and flavor profiles. This effort showcased creamy dark fruit flavors on the mouth with lush sweet tannins on the lingering finish. — 11 years ago

The 2012 vintage wines lacked a little power the previous year's vintage displayed. Still, the '12 Cambria Pinot Noir 'Clone 115' had rich dark cherry and spice aromas that pleased the senses. Firm tannins on the spicy finish will undoubtably soften with a little more bottle age. — 11 years ago
