What better wine for a lake front BBQ. Here's to blue skies ahead.
Dense red cherry, blueberry and violet nose. Lively, complex texture. flavours of black cherry, cassis, and leather. The finish is yet another turn showing ripe plum meshed with cinnamon and pepper. — 11 years ago
After 14 years aging a pretty good Bordeaux to accompany veal chop in the French style. After adequate breathing and decanting, developed quite nice fruit and pretty smooth and balanced finish. Lovely drinking under mild skies. — 8 years ago
Grapefruit is the most poignant of the many citrus flavors, but it's the wafts of vanilla and the surprisingly rich body that makes this Sav Blanc an attention getter. This isn't your usual cat-wee wee sour lemon juice that you can barely feel. This baby has curves and a richness that gets your attention. At $20 a bottle it feels like a steal, this is going to be my summer wine, I'm going to have a wild affair and fall in love all over again, lost in the bliss of these sweet aromas under sun drenched skies and when September rolls in, life will inevitably drift us apart. But until then, I'm smitten. — 9 years ago

Malbec/ CS/Merlot - bright and fresh with robust tannin and mineral complexity. Elegantly powerful and well balanced. Name means blue indigo which is the characteristic hue over the vineyards at sunset (part of the 7 skies "Sette ciele" layered") — 10 years ago
My husband bought this on his way back from Colorado. It's lovely, and made for a nice addition to a night with friends on our back deck! — 11 years ago
100% Petit Verdot that drinks well young is not easy. Northstar has done a pretty nice job with their 2013. They source the fruit from their Stone Tree vineyard on Wahluke Slope & Shaw vineyard on Red Mtn.. On the nose, ruby fruits of; blackberries, dark cherries, black raspberries & faint strawberries. Smoke, grilled meats, pepper, caramel, mocha, dry herbs and fresh & dry florals. The body and tannins are M-M+. The core of the fruit palate is black currants. Tarry notes, pepper, mocha, caramel, smoke, blackberries, dark cherries, black plum, dry soil, dry crushed rocks powder, dry stems, dry herb notes, spice, leather, violets, dry dark florals with nice acidity. The round finish starts fruity then drys but has very good structure, length, tension & balance. Photos of; their estate Merlot vines, cellar stainless tanks and the estate fruit starting to go through veraison. In the Estate photo, you can see the smoke filling the valley skies from the wild fires in British Columbia. — 8 years ago

Pavillon Rouge is the second label of Château Margaux, and the 2000 is a perfumed, silken blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 33% Merlot, and 7% Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. Freshly tilled, loamy soil, leather, forest floor, seedy berries, and black currents evokes the memory of some distant springtime, under cloudy skies. I’m especially struck by the distribution of tannins, which are fine and lovely. There is a lightness to this wine, and a certain elegance that rolls out gently, without bravado. — 9 years ago
Very good Amber Ale, big bold malts and bitter hops, seriously? Does Ballast Point ever make anything that not above average? Very rarely, Very good — 10 years ago
Amazing Raspberry Wine! Tart and flavorful! — 10 years ago
It's comparable to any major brand of spiced rum, especially when mixing it. And a fraction of the cost. 😎👌🔥 #LoveIt — 10 years ago
