Excellent Barbaresco. Had it as a wine tasting in Barolo with my son Davide and friends Barhah and Hussein! Super Bouquet — 2 years ago
Beautiful Italian red wine in a heavy bottle. The good stuff — 4 years ago
Very drinkable. Refreshing but with solid tannins. — 4 years ago
Nice grip, full bodied with a subtle not unwelcome kick of acidity at the end. Notes of blackberry, plum, and leather. — 5 years ago
Lovely wine. Smooth and refreshing for a red. Cherry forward, grassy/earthy on the end. Low tannins make it easy to drink. — 6 years ago
Cherry undertones, medium bodied — 6 years ago
Deg. 2020, amazing 😱😱 — 8 months ago
Tucked atop a steep hill in the Langhe is the small village of Barbaresco, home of the GAJA winery. Medium lemon color with aromas of delicate tropical, stone & citrus fruits with herb floral notes, blend of Vermentino and Viognier. On the palate rich pear and peach flavors, nutty herb and spicy notes. Long finish ending with fruit, herbs and generous mineral character. Nice! — 9 months ago
So pleasant. Cherry and red berry and all that jazz, but electric on its feet. The person who just knows everybody at a wedding and has rhythm and moves on the dance floor. Delightful — 4 years ago

Tastes like orange soda for grownups — 5 years ago
Medium bodied, rich and juicy for a Valtellina. Savory & mineral, dried roses, cherries, prune, tobacco, some oak, anise. From Flatiron Wines. — 6 years ago
Tobacco, burnt ash, touch of cranberry with some VA at the beginning that blew off. Barolo is always impressive. 2 worlds in one. What you see is what you don’t get. This fits the bill. Good value as well. W/ ribeye, mushrooms, truffle oil. — 6 years ago
Loved this wine!! — 8 months ago
Tropical, pineapple and lemon curd; yellow apple, sweet hay, crème caramel. Nice, medium+ acid. — 2 years ago
Popped and poured; consumed over two days. Best on day two. The 2019 “Ca’ del Buc” pours a slightly glass staining ruby; medium+ viscosity. On the nose, this is funky tart plums and cherries and something reminiscent of an alleyway on a warm day…but in a good way. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium tannin and medium+ acid. Tart dark and red fruits with minerals. Lip smacking finish. This is a rustic Barbera and a killer value with unmistakable Piedmontese sensibilities. I’m grabbing a case. — 3 years ago
Full body, blend. Smooth — 5 years ago
Committed to trying more old world wines this year and this is a tasty number to kick that off! Easy drinker, very subtle cherry, not fruity. Definite acid and citrus, light tannins, would go great with red sauce as well as heartier fish. Appealing ruby color. Opened up with some air-time/decanting for sure and would likewise benefit from some cellar time. But a very good vibe even at this young age. — 6 years ago
