Cheap and cheerful Italian red from Trader Joes. A blend that's primarily Sangiovese, it's pretty subtle and doesn't leave that powerful red tang on the finish. Slightly dry, certainly not complex, but quaffable. — 13 years ago

I'm a big gaja fan myself. How is this wine different from the regular ca marcado. I don't recall the vistamarie on the regular ones I've had
In style simmarlar to Gajas other whites. Bur made from CH og Viognier - little SB nose with live minerality..

Graceful cherry and raspberry fruit as it opens up. Medium bodied with a dash of woody tannins in finish. A little bit of black tea. Loamy and savory in nose but brighter fruit expression on palate. This like Reggie Bush, not producing a lot on the field but seductive off it. — 10 years ago
