This wine is delicious now, but drinking it is infanticide! It's nose is powerful, projecting 3 inches from the glass. The palate and finish are beautiful. Great fruit and spicy pepper depth. Wait 10 years! — 9 years ago
Strawberry nose with peppers and a deeper cherry taste that plays long. — 10 years ago
A delicious wine from Ardeche from organic farming, a blend of 60% Syrah 30% Merlot 10% Grenache Cinsault - indigenous yeasts, not fined, not filtered, 12 to 18 months in barrels - a great wine with a bright future 🍷👏😃 Needs time at opening to loose its alcohol touch! — 11 years ago

I bought this wine simply because it was from Ardeche and it brought back warm fuzzy memories of a cold rainy weekend. Cab Sauv, stout right out of the bottle. Tart cherries right away, almost effervescent. Dark fruits on the back, almost blackberry and plums. — 12 years ago
Nice complex flavors with lots of licorice. Second day it wasn't as good - had a strange after taste. Solution: drink in one day. — 8 years ago
Great value. — 9 years ago
Just enough flavor, crispness, sugar. Slight watermelon on the palette slight nectarine and wet cement on the nose. — 9 years ago

Wish there was a way to edit the wine. My bottle is a Côteaux de l'Ardèche from France, not from Sonoma CA. — 10 years ago
Full bodied yet not heavy, tight in a good way, utterly enjoyable on warm spring evening. $15 (?rt 28 wine hutch? ) — 10 years ago
Pear, soft smoke on latex, lychee/ginko syrup, schisty with a hint of banana peel in limoncello initially pop from the glass, but subside into distinct minerality. Heavy mouthfeel, bordering on cream, with a strong lemon against a ground granite dust. Banana pepper, olive oil, finishing dry and spicy, but always in the shadow of a pineapple foam. Long finish. I prefer more acidity, and citrus, but this one is a treat. #viogier #chapoutier #PicandChapoutier #whitewine — 10 years ago
Rainier cherries and watermelon. Refreshing and easy drinking. — 11 years ago
Wonderfully well-balanced blend of Grenache, Cinsault, and Merlot. Medium-bodied but not lacking on complexity. — 11 years ago
Dark and very astringent. Might be good for a fatty meat meal. Wineopolis $11.95 — 12 years ago
