1992. Byron brought - superbly smooth. After switching around between beer, saki and white wines while eating sushi, this got opened, which shifted gears effortlessly. It was like putting in your favorite fleece. The one you will never give to goodwill or sell in a garage sale. The one they will have to pry from your cold, dead fingers. — 11 years ago
Beautiful! Loved this with magret de canard. Great balance and complexity with youthful fruit paired with the cherries in the magret. — 11 years ago

Enjoyed this wine with Corton table at #lapaulee #pinotnoir Excellent example of Santa Maria Valley #smvwines — 12 years ago
For the ridiculously low price; this is a luscious 'sneak peak' at Byron Kosuge's signature extraction and juicy reputation. The story of the Kingston family is a buried treasure, and the 'Tobiano' Pinot Noir (named for the family's favorite horse on the ranch) is a delicious introduction to the gold that Grandpa Kingston could never have imagined, flowing freely from the Casablanca Valley, Chile. — 12 years ago
Who doesn't love drizzle barrel? Great even as our palettes were getting tired. — 8 years ago

Nice tannins and structure for a Pinot. Good balanced fruit and showing a bit of age. Great with BLT lunch! — 9 years ago
Strawberry nose. Cooked strawberry in the glass. Low alcohol and classic California fruit. Fruit forward but well balanced with good acidity. A good one for a great price if you like this style. — 9 years ago
Fantastic again from my good friend, Byron. As good as tasting wines in his home 9 years ago. — 9 years ago

My first, but not last, aglianico. Recommended by @Byron C Mayes Super wine. It’s so interesting. Almost like grown up grape juice to start. Then it softens into a mixture of classy patchouli cafe (can’t find a better description of the nose). So complex and charcoal-ly. Wonderful. — 7 years ago
