Great value for money, a Barossa take on a Cab Sav. Fully bodied with a long finish. — 8 years ago
Smoky campfire nose with hints of cherries tobacco and green bell pepper. Drinks like a zin from Paso Robles. Tobacco and ripe cherry in a fruit forward mouth. Delish. — 8 years ago
This wine is good. I was worried it was gonna be sweet but it's not. Notes of stone fruits. Smooth and a clean finish. Not dry at all. It reminds me of a Chardonnay because it has a bit of a buttery finish. — 9 years ago
Jammy with hints of chocolate! Beautiful on a summer night at the farmers market with friends!

Easy drinking white. Waste of cab grape though! — 12 years ago
Our boy Wilson. Carl's is great, but not as good as Molly. This one is big, it needed to breath and open. It had a bite before breathing. No fruit. Spicy spine with an easy finish. — 13 years ago

I had never heard of this wine until my bud Ron @Ron R decided to school me in wine!! As some of you know, I love sharing wines that I feel passionate about with my friends and family. I met a partner in crime with Ron!! My new Bud decided to send me one of these beauties. I truly had no idea what I was in for one I received it. Ron simply advised "decant for two hours". I was thinking to myself that it would be this big, bold, jammy, brooding Australian Shiraz. Unfortunately, my tasting notes will definitely not be as eloquent as Ron's but I will try to do this wine justice as it is truly that good.
FSU fans (my daughter school) would love it's deep Garnett color!! The nose reveals dark fruit and a touch of leather and I get slight pencil shavings as well (I think! Lol). I'm still expecting a big power house at this point but upon 1st sip I'm blessed with flavors of spicy cherries., light vanilla with perfectly intergraded oak and tannins. I found it to be light and playful in comparison to the only Australian Shiraz that I've had recently which is Mollydooker's. velvet glove. In a nut shell., this is "The Bomb". I absolutely love it!!! & would easily recommend it to my friends. Thanks Bud! @Mike Rowe @David A Lentine @Paul T @David Goldfinger @Howard Greenfield — 9 years ago

Went to a wine shop in UES, NYC looking for something to go with takeout Pizza. Saw this lone soldier on the shelf. I can never resist any wine made by Katy Wilson. Pizza, even NY Pizza, never tasted so good. The wine was superb! — 11 years ago
As with all Wilson it must open. Spicier than the reserve zin, less bold than Carl's, less fruit than the reserve, but still has a fruity middle. — 13 years ago
Delicious with a hint of pepper. — 13 years ago
Solid value Zin. Jammy. First bottle of the 2015's can't wait to try the rest. — 7 years ago
Sweet nectarines and apple. — 8 years ago
Great smooth and light fruity finish. Goes well with Steelhead trout.. — 9 years ago
Still solid red, only slightly bricking towards the rim. Nose is elegant, cedar and blackcurrant with a touch of menthol. Palate is smooth, beautiful weight and still mostly primary fruit; blackcurrants and plums with a hint of spice. A lovely bottle of well aged Aussie Shiraz. Top stuff. — 10 years ago
