Perhaps one of the most well balanced wines I've had in a long while. Soft, dark fruit with just the right amount of pepper, cocoa and acidity. No over done tannins. Smooth all the way through the slightly lingering, yet very deep and rich finish. Yummy! — 13 years ago

The dense ruby/purple '02 Padthaway Estate Shiraz 'Limestone Coast' showed penetrating scents of spicy berries with subtle tobacco and oak notes. Well-balanced with a full round mouthfeel. Ends quite nicely with a lingering smoky finish. — 12 years ago
