To start off the Christmas season with my wine advent calendar, today’s wine is an extra dry Prosecco. I also bought the cheese and chocolate to pair with each wine so tonight I have a sharp white cheddar and a bourbon vanilla truffle. A nice way to start the holidays! — 6 years ago

Day 9 - I don’t believe I have ever had a Carignan wine before. It’s very full of dark fruit, nice dark purple in color and very smooth. It’s being paired with a creamy Edam cheese and a cappuccino truffle. — 6 years ago
