Light and juicy with a bright finish — 7 years ago
Stands up to its name....bright red fruits (cherry/cranberry) but more exquisitely roses, violets, and wet earth....and just a touch of herbs (thyme/dill). — 8 years ago
Can't believe I've held on to this treasure for so long! Cedar and sandalwood on the nose. Silky with a bright and savory--almost vegetal--finish. Perfect with filet and steak-house style garlicky creamed spinach. These grapes were picked when I was still in high school! — 9 years ago
1997 Joseph Phelps Insignia. Drank w Jim, Mary, Judy, and K at PFurs concert. Left it open for an hour or so before drinking it. Super vegetal- bright green vegetables- bell pepper, green onion, celery. Very structured and lots of tannins. — 10 years ago

This is the Pinot noir, but new to this app and don't know how to change. Any suggestions? Nice bright acidity to this wine by the way — 11 years ago
Very interesting wine. Started out burnt rubber, then moved to gamy earthy, wet autumnal leaves. A bright fresh green note persisted. Light cherries throughout. — 12 years ago
Lively bright and very drinkable. Acidic cranberry and cherry pie — 7 years ago
Nose: Ripe summer fruits; blueberries, raspberries and cranberries; burnt orange peel.
Mouth: Intense and bold with bright acidity and a soothing mouthfeel. Focused and daring, the longer it rests on the palate, the more it intensifies. — 7 years ago
Great vintage. Beautiful color, bright, acidic high toned fruit. — 8 years ago
Bright, acidic, licorice, red fruit. A little floral too very complex. very Good. — 11 years ago
Love the Dunn wines. Great mountain tannins balanced and bright. — 11 years ago
Great fruit, still bright and perfect for drinking right now. Could still do with 2-3 more. — 11 years ago
In fantastic condition. Very Top Shoulder. Firm cork, pulled in one piece. Wine: Fully enveloped in its secondary aromatic life. Forest floor, sweet leather, excellent color, bright aromas, resolved tannin. It makes me think of '66 Latour, a vintage favorite. Off the 66s, probably top 3-4 of vintage. — 12 years ago
2006. Young, Bright. — 7 years ago
Light in colour and body, yet full of bright red fruit, black tea and dried flowers and loads of umami. Brilliant juicy acidity and finegrained tannins. An etheric drinking delight. — 8 years ago
Young and fresh with bright red fruit and vibrant acidity. A note of Ocean Spray cranberry juice and harmonious oak. Youthful. — 9 years ago
Bright, minerally, creamy. 2012 base vintage. — 10 years ago
Citrusy and acidic. Clean and bright. What a great drink! — 10 years ago
2000 vintage. Deep ruby, edging to deep garnet around the rim, very bright. Plush on the nose. The black cassis notes from the Cab and the violets from the Cab Franc are very noticeable. The wine is developing with huge sweet spice, vanilla, smoke and leather. There's a bovril, meaty note here that's very attractive. On the palate, medium acidity, high tannin - grippy, but not coarse; well integrated. Alcohol is 13% and unobtrusive. Good concentration. Fruit is riper on palate than in the mouth, and a distinctive dark chocolate and cinnamon note. The finish is long and attractive. Hard to imagine this wine drinking any better from here. — 11 years ago
Excellent bottle. The 01 is supposedly a better vintage but im not sure when it comes to this producer. Clear, day bright, garnet and orange brick like color, medium - concentration, orange/peach rim variation, slight sediment, low viscosity. Nose: sound, moderate intensity, stewed cherries/strawberries/raspberries, floral, spicy and lots of dill pickle and slight game. A mushroom note as well. Palate: dry, med- body, stewed plums over ripe cherries/strawberries, lilies, dill, vinegar, leather, button mushrooms, game, mulch with some cedar and coconut. Very complex. Med- tannins, medium alcohol, high acid, long finish. Between the 01 and the 98 its a tough choice of which one to put in the wine cooler to store. — 11 years ago
Delicious with a bright floral bouquet. — 11 years ago
Absolutely magnificent! Of berries and chocolate, bright out of the bottle and velvety out of the decanter after a couple hours. Can't wait to enjoy this in 5-8 years! Cathy you're amazing! — 12 years ago

Bright canary gold. Petrol nose. Notes of minerals, slate stone, citrus and a little sulfur. Great acidity with young primary fruit. Chewy. Long finish. Evolving at a glacial pace. You have to like the petrol nose thing to like this wine. — 6 years ago
