Great fruit, still bright and perfect for drinking right now. Could still do with 2-3 more. — 12 years ago
Yup, this Mathiasson guy knows what he's doing. Super fresh & bright, with just enough roundness. — 12 years ago
Absolutely magnificent! Of berries and chocolate, bright out of the bottle and velvety out of the decanter after a couple hours. Can't wait to enjoy this in 5-8 years! Cathy you're amazing! — 13 years ago
Excellent bottle. The 01 is supposedly a better vintage but im not sure when it comes to this producer. Clear, day bright, garnet and orange brick like color, medium - concentration, orange/peach rim variation, slight sediment, low viscosity. Nose: sound, moderate intensity, stewed cherries/strawberries/raspberries, floral, spicy and lots of dill pickle and slight game. A mushroom note as well. Palate: dry, med- body, stewed plums over ripe cherries/strawberries, lilies, dill, vinegar, leather, button mushrooms, game, mulch with some cedar and coconut. Very complex. Med- tannins, medium alcohol, high acid, long finish. Between the 01 and the 98 its a tough choice of which one to put in the wine cooler to store. — 12 years ago
Delicious with a bright floral bouquet. — 12 years ago
Very interesting wine. Started out burnt rubber, then moved to gamy earthy, wet autumnal leaves. A bright fresh green note persisted. Light cherries throughout. — 13 years ago
Super fresh sea spray, crushed pistachios, bright Meyer lemon. Yum!!!! — 12 years ago
This is the Pinot noir, but new to this app and don't know how to change. Any suggestions? Nice bright acidity to this wine by the way — 12 years ago
In fantastic condition. Very Top Shoulder. Firm cork, pulled in one piece. Wine: Fully enveloped in its secondary aromatic life. Forest floor, sweet leather, excellent color, bright aromas, resolved tannin. It makes me think of '66 Latour, a vintage favorite. Off the 66s, probably top 3-4 of vintage. — 13 years ago
