Great! Very smooth, not bitey, not harsh, Brian likes it! Very full bodied too.

Classic. Brambles, spice and herb yet supple throughout. Excellent. — 9 years ago
Big perfume of roses, earth, lavender, white pepper, w/ raspberry, cranberry, bing cherry, in the mouth and orange peel-mushroom-y finish. Started leathery and tannic; acidity & fruit exploded over 2-hours. Delicious w/ boar shank. Gorgeous, complex pinot @Brian Mast #mendocino #andersonvalley — 9 years ago
Towards the rose side of orange. Clean peach, spice and earth notes supplemented by touch of strawberry and red berries. — 10 years ago
Wow just lovely. Thanks Brian now this is a wine too good to watch with trashy bachelorette. But man it works — 10 years ago

From Magnum, a monumental and tannic beast that needs at least 5 more years in this format. Charcoal and pencil lead into black fruit whose tannins create this black tea gestalt that hung there for over a minute. Even after an hour a bit monolithic, but did great with lamb loin, filets. This will get even better. Thanks again @benchmark and Brian & co @farm at carneros inn! — 10 years ago
