Breakside Brewery

Back to the Future IPA

Breakside Brewing/Fremont Brewing Back to the Future IPA. The similarly named beer put out by Fremont in May during Seattle Beer Week had Jarrylo & Equinox hops. This version released by Breakside for Portland Beer Week has Azacca & Ella hops. New, experimental hop varietals in each. Both really good and distinct hop notes, although prefer the Fremont release as less sweet. — 10 years ago

La Tormenta Dry Hopped Sour Ale

Interesting combination of hops and sour fruitiness, particularly strong passion fruit flavor. Maybe some lychee according to Matt. Would rate this higher but for the mild soapiness on the nose. — 10 years ago
