Brasserie St Feuillien

Domaine Zind Humbrecht

Clos St. Urbain Rangen de Thann Gewürztraminer 2009

The Gewurtztraminer was like nothing I've ever had...Turkish delight and the duff of pine forests. Thank you LAC and Meritage brasserie -good grief! — 9 years ago

Brasserie de Rochefort

Trappistes Rochefort 10 Quadrupel Ale

Dare I say the finest of the Belgian "quads"? Better than St Bernardus 12, Pannepot, and even Westvleteren 12? Drier than all of the above (though sweeter than I had recalled, but less candied). A broad mouthfeel, dark and raisiny, with its 11.3% ABV coming across only as a light spice on the finish. A classic after-dinner beer. Imported by Merchant du Vin, of Tukwila, WA. — 11 years ago
