One of the most consistent producers of Chardonnay in my opinion. I've been buying this wine for the last 6-7 years and they have consistently delivered what I look for in a Chard. Straw colored, the nose delivers apple, wet stones, and pear. The wine is lush yet medium-bodied. Flavors of stone fruits, lemon curd and toast on the palate. The oak is evident and present but not overbearing so would likely be a wine that would appeal to both Cali and Burgundian Chardonnay fans. This is an amazing wine. Served ever so slightly chilled. — 9 years ago

Cos is a wine I have only tried a few times. A collector darling, most who collect it are fanatic only about Cos. Kind of like how Pittsburgh sports fans if you are familiar.
These were both exceptional. The 2000 showed some tertiary aspects in the nose, less so in the palate as a strong, tannic structure bolstered my thoughts of much further longevity than the nose hinted to. Flush with the firm and chewy tannin Saint-Estephe wines sport for more time than their southerly Medoc counterparts. Plenty of layered, savory and pristine black and red fruits fan out over the structure.
The 2005 is even more complex and dense and I would have to think will age at a glacial pace as this was just getting going from what I could tell as it was showing so young and tight.

Great mid level Riesling. Not for German Riesling fans who crave clarity. This wine is extremely aromatic. Petrol jumps out of the glass. Alsatian pebbles, honey, gunflint, citrus, and peach bath the tongue. Will be purchasing this wine again. — 9 years ago
Nice mineral expression and acidity. For fans of Sancerre. — 10 years ago
Smoky, bitter tone, very austere. From extremely steep site on the cool end of Wachau in Spitz. Black granite, very dry, very stony, no irrigation, low yield stuff for fans of esoteric Rieslings. — 10 years ago
A bit fruity, thin, not overly tart. Should appeal to pinot noir fans. 2012 seems to be a solid year for Nebbiolo — 11 years ago
Very pleasant boutique bottling from a superior vintage featuring a texture of black pepper, black tea, savory and dark cherry. Purchased for low $20s, this producer does small productions beside selling fruits to leading Mendocino producers. Low level of tannin would make this a an easy choice for by-the-glass and for many Pinot fans — 12 years ago
Been waiting awhile for someone to drink this with, as we Gewurz fans are far and few. After a 50mi cycle this morning, I'm treating myself.
flowery, petals and star fruit, white pepper .. this continues into the acidified ginger, and heavier body...
Love this wine. Love this grape. Not all the time, yet a few times a year really does it for me. Quality producer. — 8 years ago

2016 vintage. Tasted Dec 2016. 30% new French oak gives this Chardonnay a rounded creamy mouthfeel to support the citrus and stonefruit notes. Plenty of complexity and interest, with a generous length at the finish. Would have again. Highly recommended for@Chardonnay fans looking to explore new regions — 9 years ago
This was an all around fantastic rose wine. It was very flavorful, and went down smooth. Not too acidic, not too dry and just perfect for my taste. I recommend this one for rose fans. — 9 years ago
One of the best Chardonnays that we have had from CA!! My wife went there for a tasting and ended up getting the 2013 vintage. We are not typically fans of white wines, except this one. Buttery, yet light. — 9 years ago
Pretty killer wine, especially for the money. Amazingly creamy mid palate. Unoaked chard fans check this out. Orange blossom and white flowers. Bravo — 10 years ago
St. Francis Winery of Sonoma has some of the best Zin on the planet, literally. Rich in Blackberry on the palette with a hint of mint on the nose, this is a must for Zinfandel Fans. — 11 years ago
steakhouse bottle -- great relative value to the richer châteauneuf du pape's on the menu. recommend for any grenache fans. — 12 years ago
Pale golden. Fairly intense aromas of orange cream, apricot, a fruit basket yeast. Slightest sweetness, ripping acid with fine bubbles. Low complexity but high impact. Traditional method wine for Proseco fans. — 9 years ago
Not a lot of acid, but elegant. More than holds its own against Rhone whites at twice the price. At $26, good QPR for fans of the style (as I am). — 9 years ago
High acid White burgundy and Chablis fans take note! This wine is incredibly fresh and vibrant for being 8 yes old. Blind I'd think this was 2011 premier cru Chablis — 9 years ago
Tannin rich and heady on the nose - this is a serious orange wine for red wine fans. — 9 years ago
Sorry to all the Prosecco fans out there, but Italian sparkling wine always had kind of a burnt aftertaste for me. Not this one though! It is fresh and fruity without being too sweet. It is a great choice for a nice aperitif on a warm summer day! — 10 years ago
Really delicious Blanc de Noir with a gorgeous light caramel colour, for fans for Cedric Bouchart this is a must. — 10 years ago
So this is Chateau Margene's "prestige cuvee" and it spent 3 years in new French oak, half on the lees. This is just too oaky, but good for the style. I'm not a fan of Paso Cab generally, but this could attract fans of Silver Oak if it weren't so much more expensive. — 10 years ago
startling fruit and concentration. great acidity and good midpalate. a striking wine and a must try for fans of granache. will try to get more of this — 11 years ago
Fresh, nicely balanced s.b. from Kevin Judd;Marlborough,New Zealand cleary in place in aroma and taste;the 2013 vintage has lots of lemon aromas and is a little bit sweeter than 2012;definately a must for s.b. fans — 11 years ago
