Lovely with everything! — 9 years ago
This bad boy had a temper 🌋 Belgium yeast meets Temp grapes, unexpedidly brilliant. Mildly tart without much of the yeasty nature that Weisse's usually offer. Fruit is so well balanced and beautiful too. — 9 years ago
Deep purple colour. Medium bodied with red fruits and berries on the nose. Some earthy notes with very litte oak. Smooth tannins and well-balanced acids. Medium long finish. Very enjoyable on its own as well as with food. — 10 years ago
This bad boy (or girl if you like) is top notch! A little cheaper than Chateau Ste Michelle's "Ethos" branding of Cab it still makes us say "wow" when we taste it. I don't know all the "wine words" to describe it. I just know we liked it a lot. Very bold, complex, and finishes smooth. — 11 years ago

Some of you may remember the post that I did back in March over a truly incredible bottle of 2012 Nine Suns. I took a Picture of the cork that said "we love you already". My 1st granddaughter!! The angel is just a few days old. She's already leaning for a sip of Verite!!! Smart Girl!!! I actually sent a text to my friend Howard right after I opened it and told him "I don't get it". I gave it four hours and boy was I wrong. Truly seamless, truly integrated, true perfection. It's young and needed a little time. My friend Kirk tells me all the time "the sign to a great bottle is that nothing stands out". That's because everything is seamlessly integrated." He's 100% correct. This fires on all cylinders but does it eloquently with finesse and grace. The only thing you have to focus on is not what is evident and in your face but what can be relished through countless layers of taste profiles. All I can say to this is Bravo!! 1st and foremost to my daughter and her little Angel Colette. 😇. — 8 years ago
guilty pleasure or graceful love? good girl gone bad? bad boy gone good? if it weren't served cold it would be like eating food more than drinking wine. new french oak. menagerie of citrus green and tart fruits. crystal palace of minerality. not seeing much development, would like to keep some but I'll just drink it.
high acidity
med alcohol
light tannin dance
med + body

Once upon a time there was a boy named Cab Sav who fell in love with a girl named Zin Fen. ‘Twas, however, a forbidden love. They came from families that were worlds apart who had been feuding for centuries. When Zin became pregnant with Cabs [grape] seed they decided to run away and start a new life. This wine is their love child. — 7 years ago
