Nice. Round. Balanced. Love this wine. Acid is a bit high but the top notes make it work. — 11 years ago

A really beautiful chianti with deep dark red fruit. Consumed when the Tylers came to visit purchased my Joel. — 7 years ago
Unique fiano expression. Smoky lemon and honey and the merest hint of pine in bouquet. Intense minerality, smoke and citrus fruits softened with honey cream on the palate. — 8 years ago
A fine chianti, which goes well with (almost) any tuscan secondo piatti — 9 years ago

Me too — 10 years ago
Tastes better chilled and 5 hours after bottle was open. When opened all that I could taste was cherry. After 5 hours the tobacco flavors can be tasted and becomes smoother and thicker and more interesting. My friend I opened it with liked it. Nothing like the Barolo I prefer but I found it was at the grocery store for $32. — 11 years ago
