Brooding Pinot from @KillerPinot - perfect with braised lamb shoulder at the Boonville Hotel. — 11 years ago
Very pleasant boutique bottling from a superior vintage featuring a texture of black pepper, black tea, savory and dark cherry. Purchased for low $20s, this producer does small productions beside selling fruits to leading Mendocino producers. Low level of tannin would make this a an easy choice for by-the-glass and for many Pinot fans — 12 years ago
Excellent cider. Nicole says it tastes like mine ( a good thing) and also tastes nicely but not too sweet — 13 years ago

From the winery: "The ranch affectionately called Helluva (beacuase it is a helluva ranch!) is just northwest of Boonville and produces a light bodied and nervy Pinot that illustrates the varietals [sic] potential when grown in cooler climates and picked for balance. Our Pinot would NEVER be mistaken for our Syrah, and that is how it should be!" — 11 years ago
I believe this May be my first cider in a can and so far, I'm liking it. Like most craft beers in a can, it makes sense. $3 / 89pts — 13 years ago
