A Redhead bombshell!!! — 10 years ago
Morgan Twain-Peterson does it once again, I'm loving this zin heavy bombshell. Exploding notes of red currants red cherry leather tobacco spice and peach yogurt. Awesome tannin balanced with slight acidity. The perfect match for anything grill worthy- or nothing at all — 10 years ago
Tangerine cream brûlée, pineapple upside down cake and lemon poppyseed muffin snootfull. Merengue textured head that slides off the glass in a bombshell of lemon oil napalm. Cake donut with lemongrass icing that gets tinny and dense as it drops you down the mother shaft of hops! Something cultured and yeasty here right out of Dr. Jekyll's petri samples. It'll change you! But you must hurry...oops today is 420-too? Gorgeous amber full of dinosaur DNA. — 11 years ago
All About Eva, starring Riesling as the razor-sharp, peachy-citrus bombshell that all the other grapes be jealous of. — 11 years ago
California bombshell blonde, a pleasure to sit out on my deck with you in the sun. — 12 years ago
Absolute bombshell of a nose, like dipping your nose into a freshly baked blackberry tart, dripping with sweetness, succulent fruit, and a golden crust. In the mouth it's much less decadent, structured big tannins and a bit of pepper. A bit bummed the nose didn't carry over but it's good wine. — 9 years ago
tequilla sunrise! Biodynamic bombshell, blonde, snappy and full of charm. — 10 years ago
A Red Head bombshell!!!
Bad to the bones. Rich. Dark chocolate. Cruched Velvet! Velvet underground all the Way to SoHo! — 10 years ago
Gruner life continues. This time, a tense, nervy bombshell, tightly wound around a dense core of bruleed grapefruit, white and green peppercorn, meringue, green tea, grass, and honey-lemon Ricola. (Not product placement) The palate shows the tightness, but this is like a sleeping giant; I'd think the intensity should unravel in a few years. Love me some Gobelsburg. — 10 years ago

Wow, what a bombshell — 11 years ago
Bombshell Sauv from Melka, as expected! The style weirdly reminded me of Pouilly-Fumé, with a flinty minerality and green melon on the nose. The acidity was medium plus, exhibiting a complex bouquet of tropical fruits, lemon peel, coconut, and a bit of vanilla to the finish. Went extremely well with a edamame humus with spiced chips, in an Asian flair restaurant. Could use some more of this one in my life. — 9 years ago
If every wine tells a story, this wine speaks of a warm sunny day. Spent frolicking in a grass meadow being cooled by gentle breezes while longingly staring at a bombshell blonde who deep down you believe is out of your league. Like the blonde, this is a well structured and complicated PF. Flavors of spiced oak, and green apples, with a crisp mineral backbone. Reminds me of fine Gruner Veltliner. #qprgem — 10 years ago
For those of you who are interested in unbridaled opulence, the Nativ 'Eremo San Quirico' Aglianico Irpinia Campi Taurasini 2010 might be the wine for you. The nose fairly explodes with roasted cherries, plums, milk chocolate and vanilla, topped by a whiff of smoke and spice. There is some heft and power here, but it's almost entirely subdued by the more hedonistic elements of this Italian bombshell. Sultry overtones of figs, blackberries, and surprisingly, creme de menthe followed by cracked black pepper. — 10 years ago
Balsamic Bombshell — 10 years ago
Had this in 2012- sent with my wine of the month club subscription, and it is so refreshing. One of my favorite whites, but can't seem to find anywhere — 11 years ago
The nose screams Shiraz with pepper and black fruit. Quite the homage to Cote Rotie as Viognier brings balance and elegance. As this decants the pepper goes from course black to fine white! Shiraz/Syrah is not usually my cup of tea but I'm very happy with this Australian bombshell from Chapoutier. — 11 years ago

A face-first broadside of ripe fruits. It could be tough to get nuance in bombshell like this but a unique cuvée accomplishes that. Overall it's more my style than many at this price range (and above) from Napa. It will be fun to watch this develop. — 9 years ago
