Almost as far as a Bohemian red can get, the barrigue enhances the natural tanines of the St. Laurent grape. Much benefited from prolonged decantation. — 10 years ago

@Ron R 2008 Lamborn Gamily Vineyards
As we all know., Ron is insanely great at posting the absolute best tasting notes!! I'm not really sure how to begin describing a wine that he's already talked about BUT what the hell...I'll give it a shot! Here it goes:
EVERYTHING that he said was True.
Good night 👌🍷🍷👌
Just kidding! I'm not letting you off that easy!
This was was Insanely Focused. Decanted 2 hours and it was just beginning to reveal itself. My 1st time ever enjoying this Heidi project. The Howell Fruit is amazing. Focused with globs of depth and concentration. I love the initial explosion of Berry & I think dark cherries??...,,all nicely wrapped in a beautiful Oak blanket! I love the mid palate and finish. I told Ron., if this was a song it would be the bohemian Rhapsody. Perfectly orchestrated., it lifts you up., brings you down and takes forever to finish!! Ok., I gave it all I've got Captain! Pale green in the glass. Light licorice nose. Mint and licorice on the palate. This is apparently the only Bohemian Style Absinthe in the US currently. Lower anise level than French or Swiss styles. — 11 years ago

My first Sassicaia. A 1996. This helped me to understand perfection in a glass. I was humbled to experience the potential greatness of a super Tuscan. Velvety tannins with the Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc dancing harmoniously together and yet revealing itself individually in layers. At Bohemian restaurant NYC. — 12 years ago
