The cork says it all:
"Wish not so much to live long as to live well." - Benjamin Franklin.
And how fitting on this 4th of July!
One of my favorite Sauvignon Blancs - crisp and tart, with a soft texture, tropical fruits galore and mouth puckering acidity. Delicious.
Happy Independence Day all (or as my Brit friend likes to say to me, "Happy Treason Day, you ungrateful colonial!"). — 7 years ago
It was time for this wine, I think, except it seemed to keep on opening. Some fruit, earth, brit and a very intergraded nose and taste. Very drinkable. — 8 years ago
Really smooth. blackberry and cherry notes. — 9 years ago
Dark and earthy with a little barnyard or might have actually a little Brit to it in the nose. Big rich with licorice and berry taste and nice finish. Got it in Spain at the winery and not imported to US. — 9 years ago
Delicious well balanced and creamy blanc de blanc that has all the upside of BdB and is also smooth as silk. Biscuity too. Serve it to your Brit friends, they'll go crazy over it. — 9 years ago
Amazing wine from a fantastic Brit — 10 years ago
Had at Indaco with Murphy and Brit — 10 years ago
Yeah, that good-taut, multilayered, depth of flavor forever; toasted walnuts & hazelnuts but sprung from a base of complex tertiary flavors: as Im a half brit, echoes & memories of Branston pickle, marmite, yet all still light bodied, fresh & back again to that tautness. Maybe could critique as running a bit hot. From soleras of 50yro+ wine; only 500 bottles produced. If Proust had written about sherry, it would have been this sherry. Just marvelous. — 7 years ago
Family dinner w Brit and mike. Loved this bubbly from mike. — 7 years ago

...that touch of southern grace. Might this have to do with a Brit though @Patrick Emerson Patrick? 😜🎉🔥 — 8 years ago
Dried raspberry, licorice, fresh herbs — 9 years ago
The purple dwarf rocks it - fruit forward , high alcohol for French wine - think it's made by a Brit — 9 years ago

Iceland family trip 7/21/17 last night. From Wils. Very floral and strong notes of pineapple and tropical fruits. Medium body and good balance with long finish. Brit Costco purchase! — 7 years ago
Really nice Brit — 7 years ago
So, the night before Thanksgiving, opening a classic claret with my closest Brit. Cassis, elegance, depth and character to go so deep it's crazy. What a way to start the holiday. — 8 years ago
Wine from Brit. Very smooth — 8 years ago
I am surprised at this - had with Halibut...worked perfect. What??!? Complex, bit of Brit, earth, fruits, not heavy, but completely satisfying. Biggest shocker...synthetic cork. What??!? — 9 years ago
Not the best vintage, but this is classic Napa Cabernet. A classic nose, the palate is great, mid-afternoon is amazing and then things get awkward on the finish with dry brittle tannins. Still a good effort though. The Togni style is rooted in the old world as the senior Philip is a Brit. His daughter Lisa now makes the wines but they are of the same family tree for sure. Philip remarkably made the Chappellet wines in the early years and set a reputation there of superb quality and classicism. Looking for a top Napa Cabernet? Togni is one of the best and well priced. They drink well young, but superbly with time. #puritydefined — 9 years ago
CDP meets merlot. Buttered roll with herbal peppermint breath. Smoke and applewood, vanilla on the grill atop toasty peanut butter and melted butter. Definitely a very different Merlot! Grippy smoky almost stemmy green tannins, with a burnt edge. Almost St Joseph-esque. Really big fruit tannins emerge, but the smoke
and the oak don't stop! Smoky the Boer! — 10 years ago
Great with boer or goat cheese! Very crisp and refreshing! — 10 years ago

Brit loves this wine and Pete likes it. It's heavy, dark and intense. We can taste the notes of cherry. — 7 years ago
