Wonderful Spanish red...full of flavor, but still smooth and enjoyable on its own. — 11 years ago
Winery right next to my favorite Vega Sicilia, but at fraction of price... — 12 years ago
After an orgasmic Vega Sicilia, an out-of-this-world "Y" from Yquem, one could not expect anything better. Well, this 1969 Port did the trick. A multi orgasmic day, indeed! — 13 years ago
Since the 2007 vintage, this has been my informal "house red" (informal, because it's not going to be a perfect paring with everything). The 2012 (I have one bottle left) is concentrated, black fruit and minerality, and wonderfully aromatic. This is organically-farmed tannat, cabernet franc, merlot, and Monsieur Bozzi has a few rows of syrah planted as well. The small winery receives its barrels (one-used) from Vega Sicilia in Spain through the consulting oenologist, Stéphane Beuret. — 11 years ago
A great Eric Solomon import. Greatly enjoyed Aalto over the yrs. Vanilla, pumpkin spice, and blueberry. An affordable cousin to Vega Sicilia. — 12 years ago

Could have passed as a Bordeaux it was so good, but s wonderful red from my favorite region in Spain. Lively fruit, silky tannins and 100% tempranillo from a former Vega Sicilia winemaker. — 11 years ago
